The Role of a Servant

The prophet Isaiah was instructed to inform the people of the following: Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness, (41:10)

Are you aware of or have you really given much thought to the role of a servant and the challenging life they must live?  A good servant is loyal and obedient. They follow the master’s directions without hesitation.

They’ll defend their master to those who speak with any degree of disrespect towards him. They honor their master with words, action and deeds of dedication. A servant puts their own goals on hold; they have no aspiration other than those of pleasing the master.

They have no pleasure of their own; theirs is to please.  They have no comfort but to provide contentment and satisfaction. The decisions of a servant are not made on their own particular wants, for they have agreed that God will provide for all their needs.

These obedient servants are content to give up all rights.  Their time, energy, and abilities are not their own & they belong to the Great Creator, God.

There is not a man living who can successfully fulfill the role I have just described. That’s why God sent His Son to help make the road easy and to make us aware of the great reward: heaven & eternal life.  Heaven is a real place where we will walk the streets of gold.

There are plenty of positions available to serve.  Should you be interested, call any Bible teaching preacher or minister of the gospel. They will be only too happy to review the application for heaven with you.  Most, if not all, use the Holy Bible.
